Sweep Filter updated to v1.0                               05th July 2011

Via bedroomproducersblog.com

This rather unremarkable filter was designed for manual (or automated) filter sweeps. That's pretty much all it does. The cutoff covers the whole audio range (and then some). The resonance goes from none to fairly soft self-oscillation.

"While I released a beta version of Sweep a while ago I didn’t update the website back then. Since the response was overwhelmingly queit I figured people probably didn’t like the rather gimmicky saturation characteristic of the initial versions… so I took the plugin back to the drawing board.

The 1.0 version is here. It’s totally different as far as saturation goes. While it distorts a lot more, it the distortion should be more useful.

It’s a morphing filter with the usual types, designed for sweeps of various kinds.

And while I’ll probably regret saying this: more plugins coming in the near future."

Sweep Filter is freeware.
