MeeMix believes that entertainment should be pleasurable, effortless and hassle-free!

MeeMix was founded in 2006 by Gilad Shlang and Dr. Ricardo Tarrasch. Upon identifying a need for personalized entertainment, the two teamed up to combine their professional experience in the fields of prediction technologies and user-interface with their collective passion for music.

After a year of furious, non-stop work, the walls of their make-shift office were entirely plastered with diagrams and formula notes. With not even one square inch of wall space remaining, Shlang and Tarrasch built a unique taste prediction algorithm to precisely acquire and predict a person's individual taste in music based on musical attributes, member characteristics, signal processing and collaborative filtering - a highly accurate formula to determine and understand the parameters of individual taste.

MeeMix launched its free online radio and music community on January 1st, 2008.
