Illformed
updates Glitch to v1.3.05 26th February 2010
Illformed has released version
1.3.05 of
Glitch,
a free multi-fx plug-in effect for Windows.
Glitch is a VST plug-in effect for
Windows-based systems running a VST 2.3 compatible
host.
Glitch chops up your audio in
real-time and applies a variety of effects which can
either be chosen at random, manually sequenced, or a
mixture of both. The sounds it generates range from
quite subtle to extremely bizarre, depending on how
much you tweak the controls.
This is just a quick demo video I
made to show off some of the features of Glitch. A
simple breakbeat sample plays on loop while I tweak
various parameters in real time. It’s difficult to
see all the details thanks to YouTube’s low res
video, but hopefully you get the idea.
Changes in
Glitch v1.3.05
Fixed: Glitch’s parameters were not showing
up correctly in Ableton Live 8’s configure mode,
making it difficult (impossible?) to easily
create custom mappings.
Fixed: Bug where the mouse cursor would
sometimes get stuck in an invisible state after
tweaking parameters in Glitch’s interface, which
seems to have been an issue with the actual DIB
Controls components.
