
Score Date is a music tuition
software written in Java by mcallegari79, who was
once working on Jalmus. This software is inspired by
Jalmus and is designed to be suitable for musicians
of any skill, from beginners to professional users,
it can accommodate first time newbies, slow sight
readers and even advanced note readers.
Functionality is currently limited
because it us still in its alpha stage. More
features will come according to its roadmap
information.
Here’s some of the major:
- Notes in line exercise
- Rhythms exercise
- Score reading exercise
- Supports of 4 clefs: Violin, Bass, Alto,
Tenor, with a maximum of 2 at the same time
- Supports of notes: Whole, half, quarter,
eighth, triplets, pauses
- Selection of the notes range for each clef.
Maximum of 3 additional lines above and below
the staff
- Virtual piano, to exercise without having
external devices
- Chords exercise
- Learning mode, that shows the name of the
note or the chord displayed on the staff
- Translated in 14 languages
