Free 303 Sample Pack- Features MC-303 & TB-303

UK's Dan Weatherall has released a free
sample pack of bass and drum loops.
PACK ONE is the first of what I
hope to be a series of free sample packs. I started out
recording these loops for use in my own music but I
think other people may enjoy using them too. The PACK
contains 39 bass loops and 32 drum loops.
The "Clean" Drum loops came from my
Roland MC-303 [I used the Techno 2 kit].
Also the "Dirty" loops are the same loops but they
have been run through the decimator effect on my
Korg R3 to give them a Lo-Fi gritty sound.
BASS
LOOPS
The bass loops came from my FB-383
[TB-303 clone]. I used the Square wave setting and
left the filter open so that it just left the raw
wave. The 383 was sequenced by the Roland MC-303.
Again I also sampled the same
basslines running though the decimator on my R3,
This has given them a harsh, buzzy, "dirty" sound.
Everything was sampled at 32KHz
using a Zoom MRS2b 4-track
