Up to eight events are triggered at manually set
phase positions and three columns of sliders are
dedicated to modulating the position of each trigger
by the LFOs.
The immediate application would be
for loose timing variation, or special effect
sequences, like speeding up or slowing down, or for
sequences with erratic timing. Some more subtle
timing effects are possible, e.g. by scaling the
effect of an LFO on each step (as pictured on the
screenshot) the LFO will stretch and condense the
beginning of the sequence elastically. LFOs may be
synced to different host rates to create complex
repeating patterns.
Phase Seq is designed to run lightly
on CPU to accommodate the use of multiple instances.
